Ok, it’s official. We are moving home.
For the last 4 years that we’ve been living in the UK, the only place we’ve called home is a nice little apartment with huge windows and cozy rooms, situated in a cute area in south London (not counting the first few months that we spent on my brother’s couch).
We’ve had a lot of memories here but it’s time to move on.
And we’re moving out of London.
I am not gonna lie to you that I went screaming from the rooftops with excitement when I first heart about the idea. I got frustrated, I was scared (still am) from all the changes that are about to happen, the new place that we don’t know… But, now, I am really looking forward to it. Changes are a good thing and I think we both need it.
We are moving to a cute small town called Sevenoaks and honestly, after the first visit I fell in love with the place. It’s in Kent (which is called the gardens of England, and that’s exactly what caught my attention straight away).
I am leaving my job soon and before I find another one I hope I will have some more time for my stuff (you know, cooking, shooting, eating :D)
We are in search of a new home tomorrow. Fingers crossed as we have some viewings arranged.
Today was a cookie day (AGAIN). I promise to give you some real food some time soon, but, come on, it’s the weekend (I dare those of you who can say they can’t eat cookies all day long).
I had some rhubarb leftovers from the Rhubarb and Ginger Loaf I made yesterday so that automatically meant another rhubarb bake day. Actually the ingredients are quite similar but it’s a rhubarb and coconut combo this time. I managed to quickly make these after I went to the local car boot sale, which, by the way, turned out to be very successful one, found some really cool styling props.
Plus some chocolate as a bonus.
