The moment the weather got a bit warmer, we rushed ourselves into making delicious homemade ice cream. And to be exact it was Bananas and salted almonds dairy-free ice cream.
You know how the store-bought ice cream is full of sugar, heavy cream, preservatives and powders and I don’t know what else, and yes, the texture is really nice and smooth, but is it really worth it? For me not that much. Keeping in mind that it was dairy free and no special ice cream machine was used, we were pretty satisfied how ours turned out.
And this banana and salted almonds flavor is one you just can’t miss. Such a good combination. I had to try really hard not to eat the bananas and the almonds even before I started making the ice cream.
